We want to share pictures of families with the puppy or puppies they have received from us.  The picures will make
you smile and have such a glad feeling in your heart.  Maybe your picture(s) will be added here soon.

We also have pictures on  www.hearthsidepets.com  This is a link to our old website.  We are re-opening this site to use for more of our adopted puppies and their new families.  We like to be able to post the pictures we get from all of you. There will be some duplication too.

Cooper and Marilynn of Arkansas

Lori and I stay in touch fairly often.  She and her husband actually have Cooper, because Lyndsey got herself a great job in Hawaii.   So, at first it was Cooper staying with Grandma and Grandpa in Arkansas, for the quarantine period, but now he is there until ??  Meanwhile, Lori could not think of being w/o him, so called to see about another of Penny and Jed's puppies.  Penny was expecting at the time.  They picked an exact opposite.  A little black and white girl, and named her Marilynn. These two have an incredible home with Mark, Lori and son Michael.  Lori goes walking with them every morning, and has taught them so many good manners  :0)

Kathy sent pictures of Otis, and I included some of his growing up shots.

You can see the roan progression going on here too.

"Thought I would send you some pictures.  He LOVES the snow.  Loves it outside.  And he is doing sooooo good on his potty training.  He sits at the back door and barks.  Smart dog!!!!  Good breeding!!!!  Thanks.

He is really growing and most active.  The boxer he plays with is my son's boxer.  They really do good together.  Surprisingly.  You would think the boxer would get fed up with puppy but he is so gentle.
We are really enjoying him.  He has healed a sad heart after losing Ike.  And so different -- his own personality.  I'm glad---don't expect him to be like Ike and glad he is his own.  I've enjoyed being home with him during these snow/ice days.
I have to keep him on a leash to go outside because he wants to go back in the trees and I'm afraid of falling limbs.  He loves it down at the river also.
Hope this finds you all doing well.  Did you get all his brothers and sisters adopted out?

(Kathy is a school art teacher - and had snow days off - so glad she was able to share this sweet pictures with us.)
She also put a very nice note on our guest book.

"Thought you might want to see Otis at 4 months.  He is really doing great.  He is for the most part potty trained.  He is such a loving little puppy.  Loves to play and is full of life.  We are enjoying him so much!!!!!!!!!!

Did you find homes for the rest of his brothers and sisters?  I went to your webpage and didn't find his remaining siblings who were left when we took Otis.  Hope you found them homes.  They are a good breed and you have done a good job.  Anyone would be pleased!!!!!!
Hope all is well with you.  Spring is around the corner.  We are enjoying these few warm days here and there.

The pictures that Julia has sent are just beautiful.

"We came back from Chanel's first appointment with her vet in Toronto, and her vet informed me that Chanel is perfectly healthy. She has very clean teeth, no infections in her ears, her eyes are in a good condition and most importantly she has a good personality ! I also asked our vet about emergency hospital locations and numbers for the future references.  She gave me a booklet of all the info about puppies as well as a health information chart to keep up with updates.  She also had a fetal exam done from our early morning exercise and once again the result displays that she is a very healthy girl.  Chanel's current weight is 5.8 pounds and we also received a measuring cup for her daily dry food. She also received a pill (sorry, forgot the name of it) and booked for our second appointment on July 4th for another vaccines when she turn to 3 months.

Currently I am feeding Chanel three times daily. First in the morning at 4:30 a.m. (yes she tends to wake up very early in the morning), 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.  Water available all the time except two hours before her bedtime.

I try my best to play/excercise with her at least 3 and half hours everyday. She does not bite my fingers when she is calm but whenever she gets excited especially when we are playing a tug of war, she still tend to bite my fingers and sometimes toes. I'll probably get her train in her upcoming puppy class (training photos will be send it to you)

She hasn't had any accidents yet because I make sure she takes a two hours nap and then immediately pick her up and rush outside for a potty training.

BTW, she already knows the words seat, down, stay and currently training her with the word "drop" and perhaps "roll over" ! : )
~~   Sincerely Julia  in Canada

"Happy Independence Day Maryann! How have you been? : ) I've been extremely busy taking care of Chanel for the past couple of weeks ! Oh, and we've already celebrated our Canada's Day on July 1st by taking Chanel to rib fest in our town.
I just wanted to let you know that Chanel and I just came back from her clinic and she had received her booster shot.  She finally turned 3 months today and she is 7.4 pounds! Her vet told me that Chanel is very healthy and I need to get her used of cleaning her ears often by massaging with my fingers. Chanel is currently taking her nap after a trip to clinic but I was told to give her one tablet for prevention of flea infestations and heartworm disease with a full meal this afternoon.
Chanel has a strict schedule with eating and exercise. So she wakes up at 5:30-6:00 a.m. in the morning and have a short walk (poopy time) and feed her afterwards. And I feed her again every 6 hours at 12 p.m. and 6 p.m.
She had just finished with her second week of puppy training class this Thursday. She gets very excited to be surrounded by four other puppies in the training room.  Since other four puppies are a lot bigger than her, she tend to be on her own by just sniffing around in the room and playing with little kids. But on the other hand, the other four puppies cannot be focused with the presence of Chanel every Thursday. They just find her adorable. hehe However, Chanel is more independent on her own  because she likes to socialize with people.
She already learned how to seat, stay, down, up, leave it, take it, come to me when I call her name across the room, she knows the word touch. She is currently learning how to walk properly on her leash and whenever I stop, she needs to sit and look at my eyes.  I am just proud of her ! : )

Hope you and your family enjoy the Independence Day!

Sincerely Julia Rose Go

 Hello Marryann,

I meant to send a longer mail y'day but it was late, my brain was sort of sloooooow.... so instead of sending you a long mail, I made it short & save the one I was going to send, but the mail went missing....
Well, Picasso has been great, he loves his new daddy Weston by showing lots of kisses whenever he holds him and shows his passion to Weston's toe; he follows me around and could not bear to leave me out of his sight, he would cry if I was outside of the screen porch watering my orchids even though the screen was the only object between us; he likes me to hold him so he can sleep in my arms, lap or my legs.  Where I am, he runs there lay right next to my feet....  he also loves to run in the yard, but he has to bite some grass or leaves whenever he stops and carry with him, I guess that's the hunting instinct within.... guess not for long, few of my plants will be bold without leaves.   Today, he develops his new interest to the toilet when it flushes.
Recent days he discovered there's another dog in this house, he walked by the walking closet and saw himself in the mirror, thought there's another dog there, out of curiosity, he wave his paw and tried to touch it, couldn't feel it, went behind the mirror to find that dog, repeat a few times...I bet he still wonder where's that dog is hiding....  .   At nights, he also found his own reflashing from the sliding door, think that dog wouldn't leave him alone, so he got mad & barked at it many times already... it was hilarious... it was too difficult to catch that moment of action, so there's no picture nor video on this.
Since he's teeing, loves to chew everything, especially my slipper, he'll steal it when I look the other way. Friends & family came over to see him, they all said he is handsome and came to the right home as well.

He's now very busy chewing his toys and rawhide as I'm finishing my typing this mail. He's about to taking over the house soon.

I hope you had a great show today, hope I'll find good news from your website.
Have a good weekend
Glenda & Weston
