Brenda now Sadie

These pictures are of Brenda with her new owners Bob and Katie.  Brenda's new name is Sadie.

They were able to come and pick up little Sadie themselves.

We truly enjoyed our visit with them.

Here is what Katie wrote about their new puppy a few days later:
"Dear Mary Ann:
Yes - life has gotten VERY busy!! But we love very minute of it. Sadie is not only the prettiest cocker I have ever seen (please forgive me, my previous cockers that I love!) but she is very bright! She amazes me at how quickly she understands and learns new commands. It wasn't 24 hours when she knew "let's go home" and would run up the driveway after being outside. Both of us love her very much and she loves us both, too, but I am her Mommy!!  I have multitudes of photos of her in my camera and my cell phone. Once someone tells me how to send the ones I have uploaded into my computer, I will send you some.
We are most pleased with her. Thank you for protecting the cocker breed and for breeding such good ones.  By-the-way, we had her at our visit to the chiropractor last week, and one his techs fell in love with Sadie. I told her all about Bridgette and told her how to contact you. Also that you were driving to St. louis June 4th and could bring her up. did someone from St. Louis contact you?
Please stay in touch, and we will do the same. It was a blessing for me to meet all of you. Wish we could have met Becky, too. Maybe one day. I pray she is safe and productive on her mission trip to Africa. Would love to hear all about it.   God be with you. ~  Katie

Hi! Haven't heard from you in a long time. I sent you many photos of our dear Sadie (once known as Brenda). Did you get them? We love her so much! I will be sending you more photos soon as she is now 6 1/2 months old and gorgeous. She was spayed August 29th and did very well. I keep an eye on your webpage and keep looking at the puppies. What ever happened to Sadie's sister, Bridgette? Bob and I keep talking about our almost bringing both of them home! Then I found Betsy Ross and now can't find her. Where is she now? I also searched the mamas and the papas and didn't see Madison, Sadie's mom. So I am now really confused. You breed such good cockers, well socialized, easy to housebreak, bright and beautiful. One of these days we will be back for another to keep Sadie company. The new red female should produce some great red puppies. This would be very interesting to me. Some day my daughter wil be getting one too. I am always giving people your web page address when they rave about Sadie. Even our veterinarian said she was not precious but exquisite!! Thank you and God bless you.    Katie Meier   ~   Please let me know about Bridgette, Betsy Ross, and Madison.  (10/11)

Duke in Arizona

Duke and Edison got to ride together on their journey to their new homes.  Cora, Duke's new mama, was the one to pick them up, and sent me a couple of pictures.  They both have super nice homes in Arizona.

"Duke is doing great and we all love him and his little laid back ways so between the four of us, well, you know.  I’m so relieved they are here so I won’t bug you as much but I do hope we keep in touch.  You and your family are just wonderful and I feel so fortunate to have at least met you long distance.

The pictures are of Duke and Edison outside in the dog run before all the toys were added.  A lot of the pictures were little blurs running and playing for some reason!

Hugs to you and your family!

Cora, Doris , Stephanie, Cullen and of course Duke"

Here is a short video of Tamar - now Cassie - on her first

day at Shelley and Eric's house.  I love getting to see our

babies, and how they are doing in their new homes.

"Hi Maryann!!  ~~   We wanted to send you an update about Sasha..  She's doing great!! She's really sweet and just melts my heart..   Anyways.. We did buy her the vitamins you were giving her and you were right, she loves them..  Im sending you a picture of my daughter and Sasha.. :)

Hi Maryann.. Im sorry for not returning your call but I have been so busy today.  Sasha has been doing beautifully.  She slept in her crate last night and did not even cry.  Hubby took her out around 3:00 a.m. when he got home from work and then I took her out in the morning after we woke up and she didn't even have an accident in her crate.. She's doing really good.  Din't have an accident in the house either!!  She got scared with her own refelection and it was soooo funny.  She ran to me like a baby girl and wraped her arms around me. lol  she's so sweet.  She's doing good no more stomach problems looks like.  My only question is.. Do I leave her food out for her all day or should I schedule her feedings?  Also she's been scratching alot and hubby said it might be flees but we are not sure. She's been out in our back yard a lot with us and the neighbors have outside dogs so maybe she's got flees??? We dont' know but we wanted to know if we can go ahead and treat her??  Anyways.. I'll try to upload some pics tomorrow I've been so busy and sooo tired.. I worked out at the gym today and did some serious cleaning.. I'll keep in touch.. Thank you so much for all your help.. We love Sasha...:)
