her from Paul Cummings in Springfield, MO.  - cell ph picture.

"The obligations of dog owning are few,
but you must fulfill them.
All that the animal asks of you is:
food, water, comfort, exercise, health, and protection.
If you can't fulfill these simple requirements,
it would be better for you not to have a dog,
for he will only be a burden."

(The Complete Book of Dog Care,
pertaining to pet ownership.)

Simply stated ~ a new puppy is a BIG RESPONSIBILITY.
Almost like having a new baby.
It is important to think through the acquisition
of a puppy, or any new pet.

Ask yourself, and your family if you have the time and
financial resources necessary and the long-lasting
desire to care for a new puppy that will grow up to
be a canine family member.

Allison and Annie in Louisiana with new Cocker Spaniel
puppy, Amy  ~  early summer, 2006.

"I want to tell you that Amy is doing great. Any where we take her she receives continuous compliments. The groomers actually fought over who gets to cut her! Everyone always asks where I got her. Even our Vet mentioned that she has not seen such a beautiful and quality cocker in a long time.  She loves Amy. She said that she once owned a cocker that looked like Amy and seeing Amy makes her want to go and buy another. We are completely house trained and she has a doggie door that lets her into our large fenced in back yard (which she absolutely loves!).She LOVES watching the horses that are on the other side of her fence. We go running after supper and she acts like a sled dog. She has her harness on and litterally drags us up the hills. She also loves to play fetch and really anything that we will play with her. Our only problems are chewing and escaping out the front door (and playing too rough with our 2 cats). The front yard is not gated and there is a busy road that runs in front of the house. I spent 15 minutes tracking her this morning!  If we could possibly break these two problems, then I can honestly say that she is the perfect dog!  Everyone is fine here. Enjoying the cooler temperatures. It was really hot (100+) for several weeks. What color are your current babies?  Hope you all are well!  Thank you so much -- Kellie"

MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL, AND MAY WE
ALL BE DRAWN CLOSER TO HIM THIS DAY.

Carolyn and Bijou

"Hello Mary Ann,  Sorry its taken so long for me to get back to
you, but as you understand, I have been busy with the new little
girl. I have re-named her, Bijou (be-zsu, zs pronounced like Zsa
Zsa). It is a French word that means Jewel. She is just sooo sweet! She is almost paper trained already - she is a very smart girl. The last time she had an accident, was 3 days ago, so I think she is doing really well.

And yes, I did get the Nu Vet vitamins for her, I'm sure they will be very good for her.
She has just fit right in with my family. My Grandkids were over this past weekend, and she loved playing with them. Bijou is going to be a great companion for me, I love her already. We go to the Vet on Saturday for a check-up and to get her remaining shots scheduled.
I am sending a few photos for yall to see. Thanks again and God bless, Carolyn"

In an e-mail rec'd on Nov. 7th, Bijou's first b/day, Carolyn writes:

"Hello Mary Ann and Family!

Sorry you haven't heard anything from me for such a long time-so much has been going on in my life! I have a brand new Grandbaby born Nov 2, and she is a real sweetie!

Anyway, since today is Bijou's 1st Birthday, I thought I'd send a few photo's so you can see how pretty she has become. She is a real sweetheart and we all just love her sooo much!

Ya'll take care and God bless you,

Carolyn"

Please notice how Carolyn let Bijou's hair grow out, in March and especially in July.  Bijou is from our first Maltipoo family.

Yes, we are experienced shippers.  The airline that we use the most is American Airlines.  They still allow us to put in a toy and some Dingo chewies for puppy's comfort while traveling.  We give your puppy a soft bed of shredded newspaper to burrow down in and lots of good bye kisses.   We can also use Continental, Northwest, Delta, etc.  We have not had any trouble sending our puppies by air.  We always look for the most direct route possible, and work with you and your desire to do what is best for puppy.  In the case of temperature extremes, we have used various ground companies.  At this time, we do not have one that we like.

Normally, we can send your puppy for $225.00 to anywhere in U.S.,

but there are exceptions.
