Recent - November, 2011. The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) has been involved in a racketeering attempt to put a stop to the Ringling Brother's Circus. They filed a law suit and subsequently have been paying Tom Rider - their witness in the suit - for many years - for his testimony. Here is a link to read more about it. http://humanewatch.org/index.php/site/post/rico_update_was_hsus_involved_in_a_pay-to-play_racket/ The HSUS is not an honest group of people. We want to see animals taken care of - we love animal welfare - but not these outrageous, crazy animal rights groups. Do not be taken in by their agenda.
http://www.hpj.com/archives/2011/dec11/dec5/1130LoosTalesMRsr.cfm ~ based on an email I received about Sarah Conan - I did a google search and found this page. More information about the HSUS and it's anti-agriculture agenda. Please do not be fooled into thinking you are helping out some poor abused animals - and send your donation to the HSUS. DON"T do that. If you want to help a homeless dog or cat - take some food to the local shelter in your area - do not give money donationns. Ask them what they need - cleaning supplies, whatever.
Please take some time to read and do some research on your own about the HSUS and about what they are trying to do here in Missouri, and have already done in other states.
New Video - this is Senator Moran of Kansas.
thanks a bunch - I love you all. :o)
Here is a link to a great website - I love this group.
This is another very good site - it is good to be aware that here in America, we have groups who may appear to be good, that are actually leislating away your right to own a pet.
http://www.mofb.org/ ~ This is the Missouri Farm Bureau website - also giving good information about legislation dealing with our nation's agriculture. The HSUS does not like this wonderful organization.
Here is a new video that has been produced by Missouri Farmers Care. Here is a link to their site: http://mofarmerscare.com/ This is not just about dog breeders here in Missouri - this affects you - and people all over our country - no matter where you live. If you wonder why the price of getting a puppy has gone up, it is not just because of the general cost of our supplies costing more - it is also because of all we do to protect our rights to own and raise good quality Cocker Spaniel puppies.
